Month: June 2019
New beginnings
Hi there! Long time to see! It’s been what… 3, 4 months already? There is so, so much that I need to share but some of it I don’t feel quite ready to just yet, so please do forgive me for not providing a complete explanation on the whys of such a long absence! I can tell you that there’s a lot going on in my life right now and that in many ways I am not out of the woods yet so I deeply apologize for not being able to be very present here on the blog recently and probably still for a little while longer. I will try my best though to add a couple crafty posts here and there throughout the summer so I can keep you posted on my current projects.
One thing I can tell you though is that I moved! Yay! Bought a house just about a block away from my old apartment. It is bright, it is beautiful and it is mine. I am so very excited about this new project, but of course it’s been proving to be a little time consuming so I haven’t had much time for crafts. In fact, no time at all. With renovations, painting and everything, although I moved a couple months ago now I still have so many boxes to unpack! My loom is still in pieces in the basement and I haven’t finished setting up my sewing room. Lord, moving is so much work!
In other news, the 5k races downtown have started, and I signed up for the season again this year. I really haven’t been working out at all recently though with all the craziness going on, so I am awfully out of shape! But let’s keep hoping that things will get better as we advance in the season.
I wish you all a fun-filled summer.
Cheers!
